WILLMAR -- Even on Sunday, the Ridgewater bats don't relax.

The Lady Warriors rapped 25 hits in a doubleheader sweep of Anoka-Ramsey, extending their winning streak to 10 straight.

Ridgewater won the MCAC Southern Division opener 3-2, rallying for two runs in the last of the fifth. The Lady Warriors capped the sweep with a 9-5 win with 17 hits in the second game.

Andrea Krause was the winning pitcher in the opener, while Shannon Heitz picked up the win in the finale.

Emily Roelike, Brandi Bodin, Sara Beyer and Andrea Krause had four hits each in the two games for Ridgewater, which improved to 11-1 in the Southern Division and 19-5 overall.

The twin bill was a make-up of Friday's postponement due to inclement weather.

The Lady Warriors will next play a doubleheader at St. Cloud Technical College on Tuesday, then will return home for two games against Riverland on Friday. On Saturday, Ridgewater will face Rochester in a doubleheader at home that will likely determine the division champion. Ridgewater's lone loss in the division came against Rochester on April 8.

Game One

Ridgewater 3, A-R 2

Emily Roelike doubled with one out in the fifth and scored the tying run on Brandi Bodin's double. Bodin then came around to score the eventual winning run on an errant throw.

Andrea Krause tossed a four-hitter for the win. She walked one and struck out 10.
