Ridgewater sweeps Fergus to secure title

FERGUS FALLS -- Ridgewater wrapped up the MCCC Southern Division title with a 30-18, 31-29, 30-25 win over MSCTC-Fergus Falls Friday.

Sophomore Kristen Raitz, of Buffalo Lake, led the Lady Warriors with 18 kills and two ace serves. Terra Billiet, a sophomore from Madison, added nine kills. Freshman Katie Johnson of Grove City had three ace blocks and teammate Kassi Maurice of Renville County West recorded 18 set assists and 10 digs.

The Lady Warriors next play at Anoka-Ramsey Wednesday night.
