Ridgewater's Van Heuveln places third at DWU Open

MITCHELL, S.D. -- Ridgewater College 149-pounder Klinton Van Heuveln won five of six matches and placed third at the Dakota Wesleyan University Open on Saturday.

Van Heuveln was one of six Warriors wrestlers to place in the meet. Hayden Rouser won three matches and placed fifth at 133 pounds and Shane Fesenmaier was fourth at 157 pounds.

Two Warriors wrestlers placed at 174 pounds. Tyrell Martin and Trevor Mahlum both won three matches, with Martin placing fourth and Mahlum sixth.

Brady Thisius won four matches and placed fifth at 184 pounds.

Ridgewater wrestles Concordia-Moorhead in a dual meet on Friday night in Moorhead before competing in Concordia's invitational tournament on Saturday.
