The metal roof of a home on the south shore of Norway Lake was blown off and was hanging in trees and in the yard Friday after a storm moved across the area. Ron Turbes and his sister, Diane Kastner of Sanborn, were at the house during the storm. NEW LONDON - By the time the siren sounded at Kandiyohi County Park 7 on Games Lake around 1:30 Friday morning, the wind was howling, trees and branches were falling, the beach sand was flying and rain was pelting campers as they ran to the storm shelter.
