MORGAN -- Robert Roy "Bob" Fixsen, 81 of Morgan died Saturday at Seasons Hospice House in Redwood Falls.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with Redwood Valley Funeral Home.
He was born June 23, 1927, to Roy and Eleanor (Schieffert) Fixsen. He graduated from Morgan Public Schools in 1946. He served his country during the Korean War.
He married Cleo Neudecker on Oct. 8, 1956, in Clements. They lived and farmed the family's farm. He was a member of St. Michael's Church in Morgan where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Clements and the VFW Post in Sleepy Eye.
He is survived by his wife; daughters: Denise Bahr of Redwood Falls, Joleen (and Steve) MacHolda of Redwood Falls; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
