ROCHESTER -- Ridgewater couldn't keep up with Rochester's depth in a 78-65 MCAC men's basketball loss Wednesday.

The Warriors (5-5, 13-11) had only nine points off the bench, compared to 23 for the Yellowjackets (6-2, 17-4).

Ridgewater, which is still in the fourth and final spot in the Southern Division for a state playoff berth, turned the ball over 25 times, which led to 26 points for Rochester.

"It was rough and physical and the referees let us play. They took us out of our rhythm," said Ridgewater coach Bob Knutson.

Casey Sussenguth paced the Warriors with 18 points, followed by Nathan Nietfeld with 15 and Mike Weber with 10. Breck Weber pulled down eight rebounds.

Demetrius Williams and Joe Conway recorded 16 points each for Rochester. Williams added nine rebounds and five assists.

The Warriors will finish the regular season with home games Saturday against Minnesota West and next Wednesday against Riverland.
