Rocori’s Torborg no-hits Cardinals, but ...
WILLMAR — After getting outplayed and no-hit in the first game of a twin bill with Rocori, the Willmar Cardinals regrouped to gain their first win, 7-5, on Tuesday evening at Baker Field.
The Cardinals were steamrolled 10-0 in the first game, their fifth straight loss to start the season.
But it was a different team in Game Two.
“We played very aggressive,” said Willmar coach Mark Stier. “Cole Christensen threw a great five innings. We answered the call.”
