Rodel -- Swanson

Sheila Rodel and Matt Swanson were married May 28 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Sandy Rodel of Bird Island. The groom is the son of Kevin and Jody Swanson of Mankato.

Matron of honor was Merridee Rodel, sister-in-law of the bride. Bride's attendants were Danielle Starling, BrynaJoy Kelly and Marit Ahrens, friends of the bride. Junior attendants were Jozy Rodel and Lilly Rodel, nieces of the bride. Flower girls were Mackenzie Severns and Tatum Severns, cousins of the groom.

Best man was Dale Condit, friend of the groom. Groom's attendants were Andrew Swanson, brother of the groom, and Michael Schoenfeld and Aaron Ruona, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Maddox Rodel, nephew of the bride, and Jared Severns, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Brian Rodel and Eric Rodel, brothers of the bride; Francisco Castro, friend of the couple; and Brian Swanson, uncle of the groom.

A reception and dance were held at the City Center Hotel in Mankato.

Following a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Las Vegas. The bride is employed by Gold's Gym in North Las Vegas as a personal trainer, and the groom is a major in the U.S. Air Force, serving as a fighter pilot.
