Rohloff seeks DFL endorsement in District 17B
WILLMAR -- Jessica Rohloff of Willmar announces her intention to seek the DFL endorsement for the Minnesota House of Representatives in redrawn District 17B. The district covers most of Kandiyohi County.
A lifelong resident of Kandiyohi County, Rohloff is a first-time candidate for elected office. Rohloff, 38, attended New London-Spicer Schools, Willmar Community College and earned her B.A. in human services from the University of Minnesota Morris in 1996.
Rohloff said she seeks to restore integrity and a cooperative spirit in the governing process, as well as maintaining and building upon the district's leadership role in the areas of agriculture, economic development, education and health care.
Rohloff views her greatest assets as the lessons learned on the Davis and Lindquist family farms and the value of hard work, persistence, integrity and humility.
"Believing the strength of rural America lies in our tradition of respect, tolerance and concern for our neighbors, I look forward to representing District 17B,'' said Rohloff.
