Rollover near Sacred Heart, Minn., under investigation, driver ejected from vehicle

OLIVIA -- A one-vehicle rollover crash reported around 7:10 p.m. Monday north of Sacred Heart is under investigation by the Renville County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Maria Dejesus Gonzalez, 31, of rural Sacred Heart, was traveling westbound on County Road 11 near County Road 9 when her vehicle entered the westbound ditch. She attempted to regain control of the 2004 Ford Expedition before the vehicle entered the eastbound ditch and rolled.

Gonzalez was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by the Renville Ambulance Service to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Also responding were the Sacred Heart Police Department, Sacred Heart MRU and Willmar Ambulance Service.
