Ronald D. Louks Jr. Dec. 27, 1968 - March 5, 2009
MORRIS -- Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Louks Jr., 40, of Morris died Thursday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Morris.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born Dec. 27, 1968, in Minneapolis to Ronald Louks and Marie Vangen. He grew up and lived many years in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, including Coon Rapids, Zimmerman, Andover and Blaine. The last few years he had lived in Elbow Lake and Ortonville. Most recently, he was living in Morris. He was a member and a speaker for the Local Advisory Council on Mental Illness for adults and children. He also chaired and helped in many Twin Cities AA and NA groups and continued his participation in Morris.
He is survived by his parents of Ortonville; his grandmother: Helen Vangen of Cyrus; sisters: Vanessa Louks and Tiffany Louks, both of Elk River; half brother: Kyle Louks of Willernie; half sister: Kelsey Louks of Willernie.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
