Rosalie E. Lucking March 15, 1929 - March 14, 2009
BENSON -- Rosalie Elaine Lucking, 79, of Benson, died Saturday at the Swift County Benson Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. and a rosary at 6:30 p.m., at the church and for one hour prior to the service Friday. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson.
She was born March 15, 1929, in Swenoda Township, Swift County, to Ferdinand and Ida Josefina (Carlson) Johnson. She grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School.
She married Harold C. Lucking on April 21, 1956, in St. Paul. They lived in the Benson area, Vancouver, Wash., Pipestone and Perham. She worked at the Benson Bakery, JC Penney, S & L Leader Store, Cloverleaf Supper Club, and the Federal Highway Department of Transportation in Vancouver, Wash.
She is survived by her sisters: Gladys Kliche of Vancouver, Wash., Lillian Grussing of Benson, Florence (and Marlin) Beckey of Lady Lake, Fla., Frances Jensen of Holloway, and Ruth Miller of Appleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; two brothers; and three sisters.
