WILLMAR -- Rose Emma Krueger, 94, of Willmar died Monday at Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Assembly of God in Willmar. Burial will be in Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born June 24, 1914, in Forest City to Charles and Lillian (Rohrbeck) Ackerman. She grew up and attended school in the Forest City area. In 1930, she moved to Willmar and worked in a variety store and various restaurants.

She married Russell Krueger on Dec. 5, 1932, in Glenwood. They lived in Willmar, Duluth and Hibbing. When Russell entered the Army in 1943, Rose moved to the Twin Cities where she worked in defense plants during World War II. Following the war, they moved to a farm near Atwater. After they retired, they wintered in Arizona for many years. She moved to Bethesda Pleasantview in 2007.

She is survived by her son: David Krueger of Atwater; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one sister: Bertha Quast of Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007; son: Jerry in 2001; three brothers; and three sisters.
