MARSHALL — The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers & Ranchers is hosting a summer leadership event July 26 in Marshall. The event will begin with ag tours at noon, leadership training by American Farm Bureau Federation staff member Jill Casten at 5:30 p.m. and end with a networking grill meal at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees are asked to meet at noon at Independence Park in Marshall, at state Highway 23 and East Lyon Street, to board the bus. Free childcare is available during the day. Tours will include Turkey Valley Farms and Schwan’s Food Service Inc. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for tours.

Schwan’s Food Service Inc. markets and distributes many branded frozen-food products and meals to schools, hospitals, restaurants and convenience stores throughout the United States.
