DASSEL -- The cause of a fire that burned a summer home Sunday evening in rural Dassel is under investigation by the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, the State Fire Marshal, and the Dassel Fire Department.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, a neighbor to the David and Brenda Munsinger home at 74642 250th Street reported the fire around 8:45 p.m. Sunday. The Dassel and Cokato fire departments arrived to find the home fully engulfed and then extinguished the blaze, but the house was a total loss.
The owners, who live in Mounds View, had been at the home earlier in the day. No one was injured and no other buildings were damaged.
