According to a news release from Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog, law enforcement was informed around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday that a person had been found in the water at a home along 13th Street Northwest on Lake Florida.

The responding deputy arrived to find people performing CPR on the man, found in the water by relatives. Toth was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, where he was pronounced dead.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating the death, but Hartog noted that it appears Toth was on his dock, possibly doing something with his boat, when he fell off of the dock, striking his head.

New London and Willmar ambulance services, Lakes Area First Responders and the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
