Sandberg, McLain tagged for CLC plaudets

Willmar Senior High School athletes named Central Lakes Performers of the Week for Feb. 4-9:
Girls hockey, defense — Madison Sandberg, senior goalie, posted shutout in Section 2A quarterfinal vs Hutchinson and made 61 stops in double overtime loss to Mankato East/Loyola in semifinals.
Boys swimming — Michael Mclain, senior swimmer in freestyle events, earned all-conference in four events at CLC meet with win in 100 free, 2nd in 200 free and anchor on 200- and 400-free relays.
