Sauk Centre man injured in rural Kimball, Minn., farm accident

LITCHFIELD -- A Sauk Centre man suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon in a farm accident in rural Kimball.

Kyle Wolbeck, 32, was found lying on the ground near a manure pit pump that had tipped over and fallen on top of him, according to a news release from Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin.

Meeker County sheriff's deputies, along with the Kimball Police Department, Kimball Rescue, Watkins Ambulance, and Life Link Helicopter responded to the scene located near the intersection of 717th Avenue and 345th Street.

Wolbeck was treated at the scene and then flown to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis by Life Link Helicopter.

The accident is under investigation by the Meeker County Sheriff's Office
