Second phase of Kandiyohi County redesign report revealed Tuesday

WILLMAR - The Kandiyohi County Commissioners will hold a special meeting from 9 to noon Tuesday to hear the results of the second phase of a study examining options for redesigning how the county does business.

The report will be presented by Dave Unmacht, senior vice president of Springsted Inc., who reviewed the family services, public health and community corrections departments. His report will likely include suggestions for how the different departments can work together to provide streamlined services.

Earlier this year Unmacht presented his findings from the first phase of the study, which looked at the offices of the auditor, assessor and recorder.

The meeting will be held in the County Board room, at the Kandiyohi County Health & Human Services Building, located at 2200 23rd St NE in Willmar.
