Senate 18: Either Kimball or Newman can serve district

Senate 18 is a race to replace retiring moderate Republican Senator Steve Dille. It is a race between Democrat Hal Kimball and Republican Scott Newman. Richard Hoff of Cosmos is the Independent candidate.

Kimball is from Cokato and running for a second time. He is a U.S. Army veteran, who believes in discipline and order. Newman is an attorney from Hutchinson. He has served one term in the House and worked as an administrative law judge.

We believe either Kimball or Newman would serve the Senate 18 district well.
