OLIVIA -- Shirley Mae Tauber, 71, of Olivia died Friday at St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and continues Tuesday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
She was born April 29, 1938, in Willmar to Hanley and Eleanor (McCleary) Nordin. She grew up in Spicer, where she attended school.
She married John Tauber on Nov. 3, 1956, in Willmar. They lived in Olivia. She worked in the restaurant and catering business, and at Trojan Research Center.
She is survived by four children: Doug (and Terry) Tauber of Champlin, Sandy Minkel (and Mike Grotjohn) of Willmar, Tim Tauber of Olivia and Carolyn (and Gary) Skudlarek of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren; sisters: Sharon (and Kenneth) Sconberg, Marilyn Knuth, Lynnette (and Don) Morse, Lois (and Bud) Rinks and Marcia Byro; and brothers: Howard (and Mary) Nordin, Robert (and Grace) Nordin, Mike Nordin, Gary (and Kathy) Nordin and Bruce Nordin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son: Greg Tauber; and a sister.
