Signora P. Fragodt May 4, 1922 - May 3, 2009
BENSON -- Signora Pauline Fragodt, 86, of Benson, died Sunday after a two-day stay at Willmar Commons Nursing Home in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in West Bank Cemetery of rural Danvers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born May 4, 1922, in Lac qui Parle Towship, Lac qui Parle County, to Peter and Selma (Hoven) Heimdahl. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Milan High School.
She married Donald Fragodt on Nov. 24, 1950. They farmed in rural Danvers until 1973 when they moved into Benson. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the West Bank Lutheran Church and the ladies aid and was a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her children: Marjorie (and Stan) Pasche of Alexandria, Wayne (and Kayla) Fragodt of Raymond, Carol (and Paul) Cappelen of Spicer and Linda (and Tom) Cuchna of Atwater; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister: Manda Olson of Appleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998, one sister and three brothers.
