WILLMAR -- Four people were treated for minor injuries at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following a collision Thursday at the intersection of Sixth Street Southwest and Minnesota Avenue in Willmar.

According to Willmar police reports, Rick Wayne Carrothers, 29, and a passenger were headed northbound on Sixth Street and Ricky Sanchez Ferrer, 19, and a passenger were headed eastbound on Minnesota Avenue when they struck each other in the uncontrolled intersection at 2:48 p.m.

Slick roads are believed to be a factor in the accident. According to Rice Memorial Hospital, all four people involved in the accident were treated and released.
