Smith now second in NY-Penn hitting

Jordan Smith, 21, of Willmar is tied for second with a .355 batting average after going 3-for-7 over the weekend as the Mahoning Valley Scrappers split with Hudson Valley in the New York-Penn League.

The Cleveland Indians' property doubled twice on Saturday and drove in three runs. His 13 doubles are tied for the most in the Class A League.
