Snow emergencies declared in some west central Minnesota cities

The following cities have declared a snow emergency as of Monday 10 a.m..

Montevideo: The city of Montevideo declared a snow emergency early Monday. No parking is allowed on any avenue or street in the city until plowed.

Hutchinson: The city of Hutchinson has declared a snow emergency. No parking will be allowed on any city streets or alleyways between 12:01 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Morris: The Director of Public Works for the City of Morris has declared a snow alert beginning at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday. This snow alert shall be effective until 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.

During snow emergencies, law enforcement is authorized to removed vehicles parked on streets at the owner's expense.
