Snow in the forecast, winter storm for northern Minn.
WILLMAR - The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch and expects 4 to 8 inches of wet, heavy snow to fall in north central Minnesota, and as much as a foot in Duluth, between tonight and Thursday morning.
Closer to home, the forecast for Willmar includes the possibility of a half inch of snow overnight tonight and then 1 to 2 inches Wednesday, with winds gusting to 25 mph. Wednesday night's forecast calls for the potential for another half inch of snow.
Today's high temperature is expected to be around 40, with the low tonight dipping to 31 degress. There is also a slight chance of snow in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday.
