Snow piling up today across Minnesota

Snow started early today in west central and central Minnesota, with weather warnings continuing into Wednesday.

According to data already reported to the National Weather Service, 5 inches of snow had fallen at Carlos in Douglas County by 7:12 a.m. Four inches were recorded at Hillman and Little Falls in Morrison County.

The winter storm warning by the Weather Service remains in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday for much of central Minnesota.
