WILLMAR — The final snowfall totals tallied by the National Weather Service show that most communities in west central Minnesota received at least a foot of snow during the weekend winter storm.
On top of the snowfall list is Sacred Heart, which measured 17.3 inches. Willmar had 13.3 inches, followed by 13 inches in both Kingston and Redwood Falls. Darwin received 12.5 inches.
The forecast calls for a high of 4 degrees today in Willmar, with flurries tonight, a low temperature of 0 overnight and wind chills from 3 to 13 degrees below zero.
Flurries are expected to continue Tuesday, with a high temperature around 19 degrees. Wind chills will continue linger, with values between 2 below and 8 degrees above zero.
