The second annual Guns and Hoses softball game started with a bang as last year's hero for the Guns, Jason Keith, in one photo at left, singles during an eight-run first inning for the blue-shirted law enforcement gang. At the first meeting during the Spicer July 4th celebration, Keith's walk-off grand-slam capped a 15-run comeback by the Guns. Also in the first inning at Green Lake Diamonds Friday evening, in the other photo, Josh Helgeson, left, pulls into second as the the Hoses' Darwin Melin comes up with the throw from left field. Proceeds from the game are designated for the Stephen Reynolds Foundation. The Guns repeated as champs with a 21-8 win. Tribune photos by Rand Middleton.
