Other parts of west central Minnesota did not see the heavy rainfall of the area south of Highway 23 and stretching between those two cities, according to precipitation maps from the National Weather Service.

An area that includes Willmar, Litchfield, Granite Falls, Clara City and Atwater received about 2.5 inches.

Much of the area received one to two inches.

Counties in the area reported no significant problems because of the thunderstorms that passed through the area Saturday night.

Some temporary street flooding was reported, and rivers, streams and ditches filled.

The next chance of rain is Tuesday, when there's a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and a 50 percent chance of precipitation, according to the Weather Service's forecast.

Today is expected to be sunny and breezy with a high near 64.

Highs are expected to be in the 50s Tuesday and 60s Wednesday.

Lows are predicted to be in the 40s for the next few nights.
