Spicer, Minn., United Prairie Bank makes changes
SPICER -- As part of a management transition plan, longtime staffer and market president Todd Erickson will be shifting into a senior support position, and Darren Hetland, a Twin Cities area resident, assumes management of the Spicer United Prairie Bank branch, said Scott Bradley, United Prairie chief executive officer.
"This plan facilities Todd's long-term plans, and has created an opportunity to bring some additional strength into our Spicer branch,'' Bradley said.
Hetland, the new market president, is originally from Fargo, N.D., and started his banking career in the teller line of Fargo's Gate City Bank. He spent many years with the FDIC and has probably viewed more than 4,000 loans in his career, including Shared National Credits, the largest loans in the world.
