Spring road restricts end tomorrow in Kandiyohi County, MN

WILLMAR -- Spring load restrictions end at midnight tonight on Kandiyohi County roads.

According to the Kandiyohi County Public Works Department the spring weight road restrictions will expire at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.

Counties usually impose load restrictions on roads during the early spring season when roads are vulnerable to partial-thaw conditions that trap water under pavement. Keeping heavy trucks off lower-capacity roads can prevent damage.
