Starbuck woman airlifted after Glenwood crash
GLENWOOD -- A 49-year-old Starbuck woman was taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood and later airlifted to another hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash around 9:15 a.m. Monday.
According to Pope County Sheriff Tom Larson, a pickup driven by 86-year-old Arnold Rinken of Glenwood and a van driven by Rhonnda Opolen were involved in the crash. Rinken was also taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital. The crash happened at the intersection of County Road 21 and 190th Street south of Glenwood.
Also responding were the Glenwood police and fire departments, State Patrol and Glacial Ridge Ambulance.
The crash is still under investigation.
