State Patrol: Fatal crash near Vesta this morning

VESTA -- One person was killed in a two-vehicle head-on motor vehicle crash around 11 a.m. this morning along State Highway 19 west of Vesta.

According to the State Patrol, a 1995 Ford Escort that was westbound on the highway collided with a 2011 Chevy Equinox that was eastbound. The vehicles collided in the eastbound lane.

The names of those involved have not been released by the Patrol.
