State Patrol IDs Paynesville motorcyclist killed in crash east of Milan
MILAN — The Minnesota State Patrol said Tuesday that Larry A. Bollman, 58, of Paynesville was the motorcyclist who died of injuries suffered in a crash Monday morning on State Highway 40 five miles east of Milan.
The Patrol said Bollman had parked his 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the shoulder of the road when a westbound 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Erik Lindstrand, 24, of Arlington, veered off the roadway and struck Bollman. The Patrol said Lindstrand suffered no apparent injury.
Milan Fire Department, Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office and Appleton Ambulance assisted at the scene, according to the report. The Minnesota Department of Transportation assisted with traffic and detour.
