ST. PAUL -- Dani Wubben sailed 17-11 and a quarter inch to win the Class A girls long jump by six inches at Hamline University on Friday afternoon during the first day of the state track and field meet.

The Central Minnesota Christian sophomore's first five jumps all exceeded 17-3 and her final just missed 17 feet by a quarter inch.
