State Track & Field: Wubben, Lilja are area’s top seeds

Central Minnesota Christian senior Dani Wubben posted the No. 1 long jump of the eight Class A section track and field meets and will be the one to beat in the state meet Friday-Saturday at Hamline University in St. Paul.

Wubben, who also will compete in the 100-dash and the on the Bluejays’ 4x100 relay, placed fifth in long jump (16-10.75) last year after winning the event as a sophomore (17-04.50). She comes in with a 17-4 at the 3A meet in Redwood Falls last Thursday.
