There is a small chance that storms could be strong or severe this afternoon, mainly over southwest and south central Minnesota. If that scenario occurs, the simulated tornado warning may be postponed.

The agency had given notification that there was a small chance that storms could be strong or severe this afternoon in southwest and south central parts of the state. That chance of real weather could have postponed the drills, which are scheduled for 1:45 and 6:55 p.m.
