Stearns County 911 not working

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County Sheriff's Office dispatchers have discovered that 911 services in the county is not functioning. It is believed that this affects both cell and land line phones in the county and a portion of central Minnesota.

According to a news release from Sheriff John Sanner, officials are working with local telephone providers to find the problem and correct the issue.

Until repairs are made, citizens should call 320-251-4240 for assistance.
