Stephanie Ann (Kelly) Cross

Dec. 6, 1972 - Jan. 11, 2013

WILLMAR - Stephanie Ann (Kelly) Cross, died unexpectedly on January 11, 2013 while vacationing with her husband Tom. Stephanie was born to a joyous family on December 6, 1972. She was the daughter of Mary (Carlson) Kelly of Willmar, Minnesota and Brian Kelly of Clearwater, Minnesota. Stephanie grew up in the Willmar area and graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 1991.

Stephanie was the sweetest little girl ever who captivated her large extended family. Her grandparents Elmer and Barbara Carlson particularly doted upon the little angel who graced their lives. Not surprisingly she grew into a beautiful, caring and sensitive soul always reflecting a strong inner calm that was a source of inspiration to her family. Family meant everything to Stephanie. She was a deeply spiritual person who found solace and inspiration in all of God's creation, and her strong creativity was expressed in art and writing. On June 5, 2010, she married the love of her life Tom Cross of Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were true soul mates particularly joined in their love of the outdoors where they spent much time together and where they were married.

Stephanie leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband Tom Cross; mother and father Mary and Brian Kelly; sisters Theresa (Kasey) Haugen of Sartell, Rachel (Fiancé, Eric Wenker) Kelly of Belgrade, Kristi Kelly of Clearwater, Carmen Merritt of Waco, Texas; brother Ian Merritt of Austin, Texas; niece Alyssa Haugen; nephews Tripp Wendel, Jude Wendel; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, her grandmother Rita Kelly of Harlingen, Texas; and her in-laws, Tom Sr. and Jackie Cross, and Mario, Jaimie, Tessa, Cody, and Ella Ciabarra of Monument, Colorado.
