Stingers' Dorgan and Suchy win postseason awards

Willmar Stingers catcher J.D. Dorgan and first baseman Michael Suchy won Northwoods League awards announced Friday.

Dorgan won the Rawlings Finest in the Field award for having the highest fielding percentage (.992) for a catcher in the NWL in 2012. The annual award recognizes the top fielder at each position.

Suchy received the Rawlings Big Stick award, given to the player with the top batting average at each position, for leading NWL first basemen with a .349 average.
