Stingers' Dwyer ranked as one of Northwoods' top prospects

Outfielder Sean Dwyer, who played for the Willmar Stingers this year, was ranked among the Northwoods League's top prospects by Perfect Game USA and Baseball America.
He is No. 13 on Perfect Game's Top 75 list and No. 14 on Baseball America's Top 20 list.
Dwyer, a sophomore at Florida Gulf Coast, batted .298 with a .393 on-base percentage and .426 slugging percentage. He hit seven home runs with 35 RBIs.
Other Stingers ranked by Perfect Game were outfielder Pat Stover (No. 27, Santa Clara), shortstop Jason Leblebijian (No. 41, Bradley), first baseman Eduardo Gonzalez (No. 58, Alcorn State) and pitcher Ricky Knapp (No. 59, Florida Gulf Coast).
Dwyer was the only Stinger to crack the Baseball America list.
Battle Creek pitcher Nolan Sanburn was ranked No. 1 by both publications.
