Bill Taunton Stadium received more than two inches of rain Monday through Wednesday morning.

The field maintenance crew members drained more than 1,000 gallons of water from the playing surface of Baker Field Wednesday, yet standing water remained in both the infield and outfield.

The game has been rescheduled for 1:05 p.m. Aug. 6 with the regularly scheduled Aug. 6 game remaining at 7:05 p.m. Both games will be nine inning games.
