Marc Flores hit a first-inning grand slam for his team-leading 11th homer, and Michael Suchy and Zack Tillery also went deep for the Stingers.

Madison took a 6-4 lead in the third with six unearned runs off Willmar starter Sheldon Lee.

The Mallards knocked five hits against Lee in the inning, but benefitted from three errors by the Stinger defense.

Nick Bates earned the win with 2.2 innings of relief.

Cody Hughes got his first save of the season, and Bobby McCormack pitched three scoreless innings of relief.
