NEW LONDON -- Lisa Dobbelaere, Ellie Geer and Amanda Radel won their three matches for New London-Spicer as the Wildcats picked up three wins at their season opener Tuesday in a quadrangular with Becker, Benson/KMS and Foley.

NLS toppled Benson/KMS 5-2 to open the day's action and upended Becker by the same score early in the afternoon before closing out the quad by clipping Foley 4-3.

Benson/KMS also lost to Foley 7-0 and Becker 5-2.

Dobbelaere teamed up with Baylie Clark to win 6-2, 6-2 at 1-doubles against Benson/KMS before winning 6-4, 6-1 at 1-singles against Becker and by the same scores at 2-singles against Foley. Geer started her day by winning 6-0, 6-4 at 3-singles against Benson/KMS and then won 6-2, 7-5 at 2-doubles with Wally Gustafson-Peterson against Becker, and 7-5, 7-5 at 3-singles against Foley. Radel won 6-0, 6-0 against Benson/KMS and 6-4, 6-1 against Foley at 1-singles, and 6-1, 6-0 at 2-singles against Becker.
