LITCHFIELD -- Susan Kay Beebout, 55, of Litchfield, died Thursday at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Litchfield United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Milroy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church.
She was born Feb. 11, 1954, in Tracy to Chester and Mary (Gerner) Beebout. She grew up on a farm near Milroy and graduated from Milroy High School in 1972.
She married Mike Klein and they lived in Dassel before moving to Litchfield. She was a home maker during the years her children were young and then drove bus for Hick's Bus Line and began working as waitress at the Litchfield VFW, which she later managed for eight years. She also worked at the American Legion in Litchfield since 2003. She was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Scott Klein of Litchfield, Jocelyn (and Chadd) Benson of Litchfield, Greg Klein of Roseville, and Leslie (and Patrick) Arnold of Kimball; six grandchildren; mother Mary (and Cyril) Lensing of Wabasso; siblings: Jon (and Diane) Beebout of Underwood, Daniel (and Cathy) Beebout of Milroy, Jill (and Jeff) Jenson of Gilbert, Ariz., and Rosalie (and Charles) Brown of Henderson, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her father.
