Svor -- Carlson
Kayla Svor and Darrin Carlson were united in marriage June 25 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls. Officiant was the Rev. Corey Fuhrman, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Gail Svor of Benson. The groom is the son of Reid and Rebecca Carlson of Kerkhoven.
Matron of honor was Kelly Fuhrman and maid of honor was Kristi Svor, sisters of the bride. Bride's attendants were Sarah Carlson, sister of the groom; Jessi Carlson, sister-in-law of the groom; and Amanda Fuechtmann and Brittany Frank, friends of the bride. Junior attendant was Carly Fuhrman, niece of the bride. Flower girls were Julia Carlson and Addie Schoen, cousins of the groom.
Best man was Ryan Carlson, brother of the groom. Groom's attendants were Joshua Svor, brother of the bride, and Thomas Rustad, Erick Sykora, Scott Schumacher and Kyle Johnson, friends of the groom. Junior attendant was Jonah Fuhrman, nephew of the bride. Ring bearer was Jacob Fuhrman, nephew of the bride.
Ushers were Corey Dooley, Alex Becker and Matthew Venturini, friends of the groom.
A reception and dance were held at McKinney's on Southside in Benson.
Following a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple is living in Sioux Falls, S.D., where the bride is employed as a kindergarten teacher by the Sioux Falls School District. The groom is employed as a grain originator by Central Farmers Co-op in Marion, S.D.
