Svor -- Carlson

Kayla Svor of Fargo, N.D., and Darrin Carlson of Valley City, N.D., are engaged to be married June 25 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls.

Svor is the daughter of Steve and Gail Svor of Benson.

She is a 2004 graduate of Benson High School and a 2008 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed by Fargo Public Schools as a kindergarten teacher.

Carlson is the son of Reid and Rebecca Carlson of Kerkhoven.

He is a 2005 graduate of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School in Kerkhoven and a 2009 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in business and marketing. He is employed by ADM-Benson Quinn as a grain originator in Rogers, N.D.
