Swenson, Gophers to host Roy Griak Invite Saturday

Nikki Swenson, a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, and her women's cross country teammates will host the 24th Annual Roy Griak Invitational Saturday at Les Bolstad Golf Course.

Swenson, a standout cross country and track state champion at Dawson-Boyd, took fifth at the Oz Memorial Invite Sept. 11 and the Gophers were first in the five-team event.

The Roy Griak Invite consists of college and high school teams from across the country.
