Teen driver, five juvenile passengers to Willmar, Minn., hospital after rollover

WILLMAR -- The 16-year-old driver and five juvenile passengers were taken by Willmar Ambulance Service to Rice Memorial Hospital after a one-vehicle rollover crash around 4:45 p.m. Thursday along 15th Street Southwest near the intersection with 30th Avenue Southwest.

According to the crash report from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, Kaylee Ann Gerdes was driving a 2003 Pontiac southbound on 15th Street, lost control of the vehicle and hit the curb on the west side of the road. The car rolled and hit a fence and trees.

Gerdes and her five passengers: Caden Johnson, 11; Kyler Gerdes, 10; Ethan Stark, 7; Kaleb Gerdes, 7; and Blake Tersch, 8, were all taken by ambulance to receive medical care.
